The New Portable Oxygenator is the most versatile and powerful Oxygen Generator O2 Marine has ever offered. The Oxygenator manufactures 100% pure oxygen by splitting the hydrogen molecule from the oxygen molecule in water. This creates a super saturated oxygen environment, even in the warmest water. O2 Marine has provided this technology for live wells in boats for years, but now is introducing a portable for shore and pier fisherman. Powered by either a small 12 volt battery or 110 volt household current, makes the Oxygenator also perfect for someone maintaining minnows at home. It is powerful enough to use in a boat live wells up to 30 gallons. Designed for Fresh or Salt Water environments.
INSTRUCTIONS:
• Connect the yellow wire to the jack on control box with threads.
• Connect either the DC or optional AC cord to the power outlet.
• Use a 12 volt battery or a small 12 volt gel cell battery for power.
If you have a 110 volt current available then use a 2 amp converter (optional).
• It takes time to build up dissolved oxygen in a larger tank.
- High: the devise runs constant
- Medium: the device will run 4 minutes on the hour. Good for overnight.
- Low: 2 minutes on the hour (for overnight maintenance in 5 gallon containers)
WARNING: This device can manufacture chlorine — especially in salt water. Treating your water with our U2 Pro Formula live well treatment is recommended. U2 assists in removing chlorine, ammonia and CO2. It also replaces electrolytes and slime coating. A re-circulating pump or spray bar is always helpful.
MAINTENANCE: If a calcium build-up occurs on the emitter face, simply dip in a 50/50 solution of water and Muriatic Acid. Or, visit your local grocery or hardware store and purchase "The Works" toilet bowel cleaner. These solutions can be saved and reused.
